We are delighted to announce that Clare Marchant, Chief Executive of UCAS, will join our impressive line up of speakers at the Festival of Higher Education 2018.
Clare will be joined by Chris Ramsey, Headmaster Whitgift and HMC Rep HE, in the discussion on whether the university admissions process is fit for purpose.
The session will be held on the morning of day 2 of the festival, Thursday 14th June, and will be chaired by James Seymour, Director of Admissions and Student Recruitment here at the University of Buckingham.
Having previously led major IT implementations across the NHS, Clare joined UCAS as the Chief Executive in July 2017. She took over from Mary Curnock Cook, who is also part of the line up of speakers for this year’s event.
Mary will chair sessions on curriculum and fair funding and will also be joining the HEPI debate: “This house believes it would be of public benefit for far more people to go to university”.
