Should free speech always be upheld – even it if causes offence? Is the school curriculum an adequate preparation for life? Will robots take over from teachers? – tell us what topics you’d like to see discussed at a special Question Time panel session chaired by Academy of Ideas Director Claire Fox.

The session will be on the first day of the festival, June 13th. Panellists include Sonia Sodha, Leader Writer, The Observer, Dr Joanna Williams, Senior Lecturer, University of Kent, Jim Dickinson, Chief of Staff, UEA Students Union, Professor Becky Francis, Director, Institute of Education, UCL, Professor Andy Westwood, Vice Dean, Faculty of Humanities, University of Manchester.

Sir Anthony Seldon, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Buckingham, said: “Nothing is off limits. For example, why is social mobility stalling in the UK? Is it the fault of schools, universities or employers? What is the point of GCSEs? We’d love to hear your views as to what are the key issues for debate at this particular session.”
